Privacy policy
Short version: we collect only what you type into our forms, send it only where you asked it to go, and never sell it.
What we collect
When you contact a business from its listing: your name, phone number, email address if you give it, how you'd like to be contacted, and your message. We also record which page you sent it from and, if you arrived from a link with campaign tags, those tags.
When you use our contact form: the same details, sent to us.
When a business applies: the business and owner details on the application form.
We don't ask for payment details on this site, and you don't need an account to use it.
Who receives it
- The business you contacted, and no other business.
- Best in Ogden keeps a copy of each inquiry so we can tell each business how many inquiries its listing sent, and spot problems with a listing.
- The services that run the site: Netlify hosts the site and stores form submissions, and Mailgun delivers the emails. They process the data on our behalf.
We never sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to count visits and clicks, such as how often a listing's phone number or website link is tapped. That uses cookies and collects device and usage information, not your name. You can block it with your browser's privacy settings or an extension.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries only as long as we need them to report to businesses at renewal, and applications for as long as the business is listed. You can ask us to delete yours at any time. Once a business has your inquiry, it holds its own copy under its own policies.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete what we hold about you. Contact us and we'll reply by email.
