The Vetted badge
The Best in Ogden Vetted badge tells homeowners a business passed our published checks this year. Here's what it means, who can use it, and the code to add it to a website.
What it means
A business showing the 2026 badge is listed on Best in Ogden for 2026. It passed the Best in Ogden Standard: a real address in the Ogden area, Ogden as its home market, local ownership, and the license and insurance checks for its trade. The badge links to the business's listing, where you can see what was checked and when.
If you see the badge on a site and it doesn't link to a Best in Ogden listing, or the business isn't on the list, tell us.
Rules for listed businesses
- Use it only while your listing is active, and only for the year shown on it.
- Always link it to your own listing page.
- Don't change the colors, stretch it or edit the text. Use the light version on light backgrounds and the dark version on dark ones.
- Don't use it to suggest you're ranked first or "the best". Listed businesses are vetted, not ranked.
- If your listing ends, take the badge down.
Embed code
We send each listed business its own code with its listing address filled in. It looks like this:

For dark backgrounds, change light to dark in the image address. For print, quotes and email signatures, ask us for the files.
